Hi there! I’m Jay Smith—Jesus-loving, dad-joke-telling, girl dad extraordinaire, and the lucky husband to my beautiful wife, Marissa. I’m also a photographer, which means I’m professionally trained to yell, “Say cheese!” while crouching in awkward positions.

When I’m behind the lens, my job is simple: capture the real you. I’m talking about belly laughs, happy tears, and maybe a little bit of chaos (because let’s be honest, family photos always involve at least one rogue child or dog).

I’m not here for the stiff poses or fake smiles. Nope, I’m here for the messy, beautiful, unfiltered moments that make life life. I want my photos to be so real, you’ll hear the laughter, relive the sounds, smells, and feelings of the day, and feel the joy every time you look at them.

Outside of photography, I love walking with my family, playing golf, reading my Bible with a good cup of coffee, enjoying good food (hold the cheese, please), and watching my two daughters grow. I genuinely care about you and your crew—so much so that I’ll happily make a fool of myself if it means getting everyone to relax and have fun during our session.
